You do not have to drive on day one.

Some people sit in the passenger seat the whole first lesson. That is success.

There is a brake on the floor on my side and a brake on your side. Two people can share the stop. Slow. Sometimes one kilometre an hour. We move half a car length and stop. We do it again.

No speech. No “go go go.” Just meet the car.

Anxiety grows when you wait and wait. It shrinks when you take one kind step.

Come sit. Touch the brake. Feel the car. Talk. That is a real first step.

The best time is today, or ten years ago. Today still works.

Then, when you are ready, you move over. Same car. Same calm. Same “we take it apart and build it again.”

I can drive is the big game. Sitting in the seat is how a lot of people begin.

Come see.
