Most people think defensive driving means moving slowly and being overly cautious. But real defensive driving is about control, positioning, and minimizing risk through strategic decision-making.

Being proactive rather than reactive means knowing when to adjust speed, when to hold position, and when to yield control to avoid danger. Its about staying one step ahead, not just driving passively this is why I don’t like the name and prefer to call it Offensive Defensive Driving. Better yet, Calm Driving is the ultimate goal.

Are you truly driving defensively, or just being overly cautious using half the ability to manage space?
