We’re all taught to “look both ways” before crossing an intersection, but this advice lacks critical depth. Looking isn’t enough—you need to analyze movement patterns, anticipate risks, and check more than just left and right.

A skilled driver scans intersections several seconds in advance, observes traffic patterns, and ensures a clear escape path before even reaching the intersection. Simply turning your head doesn’t guarantee safety.

In truth the habit should be LCRL. Left Centre Right and Left again. Do you know why?
